A few days ago I ordered these delightful tester pots from Lily Lolo as a replacement for my empty Bobbi brown mineral foundation. Here's my thoughts...

Finely milled mineral foundation SPF 15 that buffs into skin effortlessly, and allows custom coverage when applied in buildable layers. Made from natural ingredients to ensure the skin is kept clean and healthy, minimising breakouts and blemishes.
A bit about the brand:
The company is located in London and is named after Vikki Khan's (the creator) two sisters, Lisa and Lorraine, and is now used by make up artists, celebrities and beauty editors worldwide. Lily Lolo has been featured in Elle, Vogue & Cosmo (to name a few) and has won the 'Green Beauty Bible Award', as well as the 'Eco Glam Awards'. They are also BUAV approved and have been granted 'Caring Consumer Cruelty Free' by PETA. 90% of their products are made in the UK, with the exception of their eyeliner and mascara (Italy) and their lipstick (Germany). They state that no matter what new products they develop, their ethos will always stay the same: made in the UK, sourced from the finest ingredients, not tested on animals (BUAV approved), free from harmful chemicals and affordable for every woman.

My thoughts:
I've tried a HELL of a lot of foundation (liquid, pressed powder and mineral) and have found nothing that gives me as flawless a finish as Lily Lolo. Choosing make up is very difficult for me as I have very sensitive and easily reddened skin, so avoiding harsh chemicals is a must. The tiny (chemical free!) ingredients list is what drew me to Lily Lolo, and my decision was finalised when I realised I could pay mere pennies for multiple tester pots.
I bought 3 tester pots for £1.29 each - Blondie, China Doll and Warm Peach. Their shade table is really helpful when you're trying to decide which colour to go for - I chose these 3 colours as I wasn't sure if my skin has neutral or warm tones.
When I tried the powder on the back of my hands I could barely see them (they're that fine) so I layered it on to get a better idea of their true shades. They all look ridiculously pale in the picture and when I was trying them out I honestly thought that 'China Doll' looked like my best match.
I decided not to bother with Blondie as it was so pale and gave it to my fairer sister. China Doll looked rather nice on my face and blended it quite well, but I thought it made me look a little sallow/tired, so I decided to try out Warm Peach. Turns out that was my perfect shade! It gave me a bit more colour than China Doll and the yellower tone helped even out the redness around my nose.

To be honest my skin isn't looking half bad at the moment thanks to my miracle face cream so there's only slight redness, puffy eyes and a few dry areas to deal with (instead of the usual bright red, sensitive face). As you can see in the second picture - the 'warm peach' shade completely blends into my skin tone and looks very natural.
For once in my life I didn't feel the urge to use concealer during the day thanks to the great (and lightweight) coverage of Lily Lolo, so I actually felt like my skin could breathe.
What I LOVE about it:
- Lockable sifter so no spills or messy lid
- No nasty chemicals - fussy skin is happy!
- Not tested on animals
- Medium price range for a large tub
- The light-reflecting 'Mica' ingredient that makes your skin look flawless, especially in photos
- It gives a water resistant, flawless finish
Oh and did I mention it stays on ALL DAY - here's me wearing my Lily Lolo (warm peach) after having been drinking and dancing for hours. Usually I'd have serious red-face going on - so Lily, you get a 10/10 from me.
